Guideline, Rules, Regulations, and Suggestions

As custodians of this dynamic category, we lay down a set of guidelines to ensure a harmonious blend of innovation and compliance.

Accepted Mediums and Submission Guidelines:
  1. Digital Painting and Drawing: Artists utilizing digital tools for their creations, employing software like Adobe Photoshop or Procreate, are invited to submit a jpg image of their artwork.
  2. Digital Collage: Melding traditional techniques with digital prowess, artists can craft captivating collages using various elements. Submission involves a jpg image capturing the essence of the digital collage.
  3. Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR/ER): Immersive experiences unfold through artwork designed for virtual or augmented reality platforms. Artists must submit a video (mp4) of the recorded experience and include OBJ, FBX, GLTF, and STL formats for the selected works.
  4. Installation/Video Installation Art: Engaging environments through a fusion of materials, lighting, sound, and technology, this category welcomes submissions in the form of pictures or videos capturing the entire installation experience. For video art within installations, a separate mp4 file must be submitted.
  5. Video Art:From traditional presentations to avant-garde explorations, video art enthusiasts can submit their pieces in mp4 format. Special consideration is given to works diverging from conventional screening methods, directing them to the video installation category.
Criteria
  • OWNERSHIP AND LICENSING
    All content utilized must be owned or properly licensed. Participants incorporating copyrighted material must obtain explicit permission, submitting tangible proof to the Festival Organizer for validation.
  • ARTWORK INFORMATION STATEMENT
    Each submission requires a comprehensive statement, including the title, size, material, and year of creation. Crucially, all artworks must be original, fostering a space for genuine artistic exploration.
  • COLLABORATIVE ENDEAVORS
    Embracing collective creativity, the festival welcomes collaborative pieces, acknowledging the power of shared visions in shaping the narrative.
Submission Requirements:
  1. High-Resolution Media: Videos and pictures should be submitted in high resolution to capture the intricacies of the artwork.
  2. Artwork Information: A detailed statement encompassing title, size, material, and year is mandatory for every submission.
  3. Originality: Submitted artworks must be original creations, encouraging artists to delve into the festival theme of “When Women Rise.”
